But, it is beautiful and I am sure that someday I will use it more often! When else will you have the chance to get it though? So, go for it. But, I will say, I went a little higher-end with my everyday pottery-type dishes, and a little less fancy with my china, which I think was not a bad idea since I use the pottery stuff all the time, I am glad it is something I really love.Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01615411760398952511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34168517.post-30453726710013479802007-08-20T19:45:00.000-07:002007-08-20T19:45:00.000-07:00We DID register for China initially, but dropped i...We DID register for China initially, but dropped it from our registry eventually. I didn't think we'd use it. But we have inherited a set from my grandmother since, so I DO have some. Probably will be glad about that later, but crystal and china seems too froofy for me at this point.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03618777999820272272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34168517.post-21101756413901147442007-08-20T13:48:00.000-07:002007-08-20T13:48:00.000-07:00Glad to see some news! I grew up with my mother serving every Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner on her china, which sat in a china cabinet in the dining room. This was my picture of married life. I LOVE my china, by the way. I don't use it much yet, but I have my parents old china cabinet and it sure looks great in there! My suggestion is to register for it if you think you will use it EVER in your life (since you only get to register now.) Also, look around until you find that pattern that just jumps out at you. If nothing does, then maybe you don't really want china.Rainahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11998700374826784939noreply@blogger.com
